Automation electronics engineering and manufacturing firm, Western Reserve Controls, Inc., announces several new Ethernet interface adapter modules compatible with its WRC4 line of rugged I/O as well as with systems from several other signal conditioning and single point I/O suppliers.
Akron, OH, June 10, 2018 – (WRC) Western Reserve Controls, Inc, a provider of commercial off-the-shelf Automation Control Products plus customized Original Design and Manufacturing (ODM) services, today announced the launch of its new line of W5-JEB Ethernet interface modules compatible with its WRC4 line of rugged I/O as well as signal conditioners and single point I/O from other brands such as Crydom, Crouzet, Gordos and Opto 22.
Initially available with EtherNet/IP, and to be followed by additional open network protocols, all W5-JEB series Ethernet interface modules feature an embedded 2-port Ethernet switch for easy daisy-chaining of multiple I/O mounting boards/racks eliminating the need for multiple PLC chassis I/O modules as well as eliminating the distance restrictions imposed by traditional hard-wired PLC interface cables.
