WRC is pleased to announce WRC Outsource, a program for OEM value-added design services. This program provides OEMs with the opportunity to improve costs and competitiveness with DeviceNet products, I/O products or subsystems customized to meet their particular business and technical requirements. These services provide the following benefits to OEMs:

• Improved costs by allowing them to buy only what is needed to perform a task
  
• Ability to quickly integrate a product, process, system or machine onto DeviceNet
  
• Enables them to offer expanded capabilities to their customers
  
• Allow OEMs to develop unique interfaces or specialized circuits
  
• Allows OEMs to concentrate resources on their core business
  
• Provides a relationship with an established I/O and industrial communication product manufacturer who can help provide leadership, suggestions and recommendations

This value-added design service is not a new function within WRC, as we have provided customer-focused products and solutions for many years. We have provided products ranging from the simple to the more complex, including products like

• Discrete I/O modules to satisfy specific voltage or power requirement
  
• I/O mounting boards to meet particular control cabinet layout restrictions
  
• DeviceNet interface to OEM-specific serial protocol devices
  
• Faxing and beeper capability in a remote, stand-alone data acquisition node

WRC has a wide range of standard I/O products and components to satisfy a large number of industrial and commercial data acquisition and control needs. However, when these components do not completely address an OEM's needs, then WRC Outsource can work with the OEM to develop a unique, cost-effective and quality solution.
