1799wr-EASCII EtherNet/IP-to-Serial ASCII Gateways

1799wr-EASCII provides a cost-effective EtherNet/IP™-Serial ASCII Gateway solution in the Rockwell Automation standard 1799 Embedded I/O footprint. The 1799wr-EASCII enables the user to integrate a wide variety of RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 serial devices into an EtherNet/IP system.

1799wr-EASCII is ideal for a wide variety of applications and is particularly well-suited for OEMs, especially in material handling systems. Typical serial devices include bar code readers, weigh scales, displays and many others.

• Serial port baud rates up to 115.2k baud with RTS/CTS on RS-232

W5-JEIC4 is an EtherNet/IP-Serial ASCII Gateway device that provides a space efficient and highly cost-effective solution for seamlessly integrating up to four serial ASCII peripheral devices into an EtherNet/IP system. The W5-JEIC4 enables the user to select from a wide variety of RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 serial devices— just the right products— to enhance the system design.

W5-JEIC4 is ideal for a wide variety of challenging applications and is well-suited for OEMs, system integrators and end users.
